Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting required.
• LPT certification and PHAR-C certification required; BCLS training.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparation, compounding, labeling, and dispensing of medications.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications using aseptic techniques.
• Manage inventory and prevent shortages via regular audits.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records and controlled substances logs.
• Provide excellent service to patients and staff regarding medications.
• Operate and maintain pharmacy equipment including automated dispensing systems.
• Support medication reviews and reconciliation as required.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
