Job summary

You will handle refills, dispensing, inventory, and documentation, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and training junior technicians.

This role seeks experienced techs (3-5 years preferred) with the LPT and PHAR-C certifications, and a commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
• LPT and PHAR-C certification; state registration where required.

Responsibilities

• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
• Prepares and fills medication orders, including controlled substances, under pharmacist supervision.
• Supports medication billing, charges, and inventory records.
• Prepares prepackaged and bulk medications with correct labeling.
• Oversees restocking and maintenance of pharmaceuticals in compliance with standards.
• Assists in training and competency assessments of new or junior technicians.
• Participates in quality assurance and process improvement activities.
• Responds to inventory and regulatory documentation requirements.
