Job summary

Country Manor in Sartell, MN is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our award-winning team. This part-time role offers up to 20 hours per week with Monday–Friday shifts and rotating Saturdays on the Country Store and Pharmacy campus.

You will provide exceptional patient service, process prescriptions, support insurance claims, and assist with pharmacy operations in a caring, community-focused setting. Experience preferred, certification required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician certification required.
• Must possess excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and support patients with prescription, refill, and pharmacy service needs.
• Prepare, process, package, and enter prescriptions for pharmacist verification, including insurance claim troubleshooting and prior authorization support.
• Assist with medication synchronization, refill management, medication delivery coordination, and special handling requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient profiles, pharmacy records, medication inventory, and quality assurance documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, expiration dates, medication returns, recalls, and controlled substance documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support long-term care and assisted living services, including medication orders, medication cart exchanges, emergency supplies, medication records, and medication reconciliation.
• Assist pharmacists with patient outreach, medication adherence initiatives, wellness programs, and other patient service activities as permitted.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient pharmacy environment.
• Assist with training and mentoring pharmacy technicians and support staff, scheduling, workflow prioritization, and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain active Pharmacy Technician certification, complete required continuing education, and uphold medication safety, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
