Job summary

Petro Towery, Inc. in Bowling Green, KY is seekingCertified Technicians to install, maintain and troubleshoot fueling dispensing systems and related POS/networking equipment. Applicants should have 1–3 years mechanical/electrical experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Applicants must have a valid driver license, be 18 or older, and be willing to undergo background checks and drug screening. On-call rotation and flexible hours are required, with a company-provided vehicle and tools to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years mechanical/electrical experience in a similar environment or equivalent in college/vocational education.
• Valid Driver License with an acceptable driving record.
• Able to read schematics and use service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot fueling dispensing systems including dispensers and pumps.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot point of sale and networking systems including Gilbarco Passport, Verifone Commander, Gasboy Prime, Veeder Root Tank Monitor systems.
• Follow applicable fire safety, OSHA and EPA rules and regulations.

Essential Duties:

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot fueling dispensing systems including dispensers, submerged turbine pumps and controls
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot point of sale and networking systems including Gilbarco Dispenser, Passport, Verifone Commander, Gasboy Prime, Veeder Root Tank Monitor systems and various other manufacturer systems.
• Understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA and EPA rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a high school diploma/GED and/or one to three years mechanical and electrical experience in a similar environment or equivalent in college or vocational education
• Valid Driver License, with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and understand necessary service and training manuals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening
• Must be willing to work flexible hours to include being in an on call rotation.
• Electrical knowledge, networking knowledge, mechanical knowledge or industry specific knowledge. (Preferred)
