Job summary

JEVS Human Services is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to empower individuals toward recovery and personal goals within our program in Philadelphia. You will work with individuals and groups to develop action plans, provide activities, education, and skill teaching that support progress toward recovery goals.

Qualified candidates are Certified Peer Specialists with CBH credentialing and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

  • Meet CBH credentialing and training requirements as Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist/Worker within designated time frame
  • Must be a Certified Peer Specialist and have been working in the field for 1 year

JEVS Human Services is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist. The Certified Peer Specialist empowers and motivates people to work toward recovery - feeling the way they want to feel, making their lives the way they want them to be, developing goals, achieving and keeping those goals, and moving toward meeting life goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promoting a peer support culture within the program. Give presentations on the role of the CPS to agency members, community resource liaison and family members.
Skills & Requirements
  • Meet and maintain CBH credentialing and training requirements as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist/Worker within designated time frame
  • Must be a Certified Peer Specialist and have been working in the field for 1 year

The base pay for this position is $20.37 hourly. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
