Job summary

Fountain House in New York City is seeking a part-time CORE Services Certified Peer Specialist to deliver peer support within the community. You will engage members 1:1, assist with recovery goals, and help connect people to housing, employment, education, and wellness resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• NYS Peer Certification or NYCRPA Certification required/maintained.
• Lived experience with disability or mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee caseloads within CORE services, providing 1:1 support.
• Deliver trauma-informed, person-centered peer services.
• Assist members in recovery goals and connecting to housing, education, employment, and wellness resources.
• Coordinate with other providers and document progress in EHR.
• Attend CORE team meetings and support community integration.
