• Certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist by the TN Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services.
• Minimum of two years of demonstrated recovery from a substance use and/or mental health disorder.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Excellent verbal and relationship-building skills.

• Link individuals to appropriate community-based groups and resources.
• Remain connected by phone or email to Cedar’s patients for purposes of ensuring their on-going success and engagement in their respective program.
• Lead individual or group peer recovery sessions as directed by the peer’s supervisor

This position is for a full-time Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (CPRS) and such offering shall be at the discretion of Cedar Recovery based upon the needs of the company and request of the potential candidate.
