Job summary

Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) in Champaign, IL, is seeking a Certified Pedorthist to join our on-site team. The role requires ABC certification and an active Illinois pedorthist license or eligibility, plus proven skills in evaluation, fitting, modification, and follow-up care.

You will collaborate with healthcare providers, deliver patient education, and maintain clear clinical documentation while providing on-site care in Champaign.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois pedorthist license or eligibility.
• Competence in pedorthic evaluation, fitting, modification, and follow-up care.
• Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, therapeutic footwear, foot orthoses, and pedorthic materials.
• Strong communication, patient education, and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare providers and provide on-site patient care in Champaign.

Required Qualifications

• Current American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) certification as a Certified Pedorthist.
• Active Illinois pedorthist license, or eligibility to obtain the license before performing services that require Illinois licensure.
• Demonstrated competence in pedorthic evaluation, fitting, modification, and follow-up care.
• Working knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, therapeutic footwear, foot orthoses, and pedorthic materials.
• Strong communication, patient education, and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare providers and provide on-site patient care in Champaign.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience in pedorthics.
• Experience in an orthotics and prosthetics clinic, rehabilitation setting, or other multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with reimbursement documentation and referral relationship development.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $50,000–$75,000 per year. Starting compensation will reflect relevant experience, credentials, and qualifications.
