Job summary

Covenant Medical Center in Texas is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist patients with activities of daily living and delegated nursing tasks. You will help create a safe, clean environment that supports patient-focused care and collaborate with licensed nurses.

The role requires completion of a state-approved PCT program or equivalent experience, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and national PCT credentials. Six months of PCT and phlebotomy experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT) or coursework/training with combined equivalent experience and certification.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Association for Health Professionals, Or
• Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Center for Competency Testing, Or
• Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Healthcareer Association
• 6 months of Phlebotomy experience (preferred)
