Texas Health Huguley in Burleson, TX is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the Night shift. The role involves direct patient care, adherence to safety protocols, and participation in quality initiatives.

Required High School Grad or equivalent with BLS, CNA or CPCT/A, EMT certifications. Prior bedside experience preferred. Benefits from Day One and a supportive team environment are offered.

Job Description:

• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.
• Follows prescribed isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of protective equipment, performs handwashing according to policy, and enforces safety regulations.
• Exhibits a desire to learn and upgrades skills continuously. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Additional Information:

• 1+ applicable PCT experience [Preferred]
• Previous bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Required] OR
• Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A)[Required]OR

Pay Range:

$16.53 - $26.45
