Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Certified Patient Care Technician to assist with daily living activities and support the care team. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient support, vital signs, basic procedures, and safe, compassionate care to patients and families.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and active PCT certification, with completion of PCT training. Emphasis on safety, communication, and teamwork in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Patient Care Technician Certification required.
• Completion of Patient Care Technician training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patients’ activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility, transport) and follow standard precautions.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point of care testing, EKGs, and Foley catheter care as directed by the RN.
