Job summary

AdventHealth Ocala is hiring to support patient care on an acute unit. You will assist in delivering nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse on a day shift. The role requires a high school diploma and nursing assistant certification; prior PCT experience is preferred, with an emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ PCT experience preferred.
• BLS and CNA/CPCT/NCPCT/ PCT-C/EMT certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Assists in delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department policy.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
