Banner Desert Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join our Progressive Care Unit. As part of our East Valley expansion efforts, we are adding a new 36 bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to support our patients. As a Patient Care Assistant you will have the unique opportunity provide the finest care possible, while working with a great team to advance the way care is provided. Previous experience as a PCA, LNA or CNA is highly preferred but not required.
We have a Full Time, and Part Time Night Shift positions working from 6pm-6:30am.
Rotating weekends and holidays. Weekend and holiday rotations are required in this role. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential when applicable.

This position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.
Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, BTMC Behavioral, and BUMG, BUMCT, or BUMCS in a Behavioral Health clinical setting that serves children must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment.
