Job summary

Sanford Health in Dickinson, ND is seeking an Orthotic/Prosthetic Practitioner to provide comprehensive patient care under a physician's prescription. You will assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and handle follow-up and practice management.

The role focuses on designing and fitting orthoses and prostheses to restore function or cosmesis, with ABC or BOC certification required and a valid Class D driver's license. Sanford Health is an EEO/AA employer.

Qualifications

• Completed the schooling necessary to become certified as a Certified Orthotic/Prosthetic Practitioner.
• Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics through the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC) is required.
• Possess a valid Class D driver's license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Summary Responsible to manage the comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic patient care under the direction of a physician's prescription. This includes patient assessment, formulation and implementation of a treatment plan, as well as follow-up and practice management.
• The orthosis/prosthesis is designed to restore physiological function and/or cosmesis.
