Job summary

Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics seeks a Certified Orthotic Fitter (CFo) to assess, fit, and adjust prefabricated orthoses within ABC scope. You will support patient care under supervision, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to Medicare/HIPAA standards.

The role requires strong collaboration with physicians, therapists, and care teams, plus excellent communication and manual dexterity. Experience in DME fitting is a plus.

Qualifications

• ABC Certified Orthotic Fitter (CFo) credential is required.
• Knowledge of orthotic principles and biomechanics is essential.
• Understanding of prefabricated orthoses and DME fitting protocols.
• Effective communication with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to manage documentation workflows in regulated healthcare.
• Capacity to work well in a team-based clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit, deliver, and adjust orthoses per ABC scope.
• Assist with evaluations and treatment plan implementation.
• Measure, modify, and troubleshoot devices for fit and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wear schedules and care.
• Document encounters in compliance with Medicare and HIPAA.
• Provide follow-up support within certification scope.
