Aufgaben

• Rooms and collects patient assessment data; documents history, vitals, glasses and contact lens info; assists physicians during treatment and examinations.
• Administers/assists with ophthalmic testing and procedures (tonometry, slit lamp, fundus photography, OCT, etc.).
• Provides patient and family education; follows up on patient care as needed.
• Performs telephone triage and documents messages; maintains accurate charting.
• Maintains and calibrates ophthalmic equipment; may work alternate shifts and weekends.
