Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant to join the Stoneham ophthalmology team at 1 Montvale Avenue. The role supports examination prep, clinical procedures, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality outpatient eye care.

Requirements include COA certification and at least one year of supervised clinical experience; must have a High School diploma. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; onsite, with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification required and maintained in good standing.
• At least one year of experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant in a supervised clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Chief Ophthalmic Technician and Site Manager, provides clinical and technical support to deliver high-quality outpatient eye care.
• Performs ophthalmic procedures, prepares patients for examination, and supports efficient, patient-centered clinic operations.
• Works with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure smooth patient flow and quality care.
