Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms, greet patients, and assist during procedures.
• Perform essential ophthalmic tests and assist with advanced imaging as ordered.
• Provide scribing support in the electronic medical record and assist during procedures.
• Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment; ensure sterile technique.
• Communicate with patients regarding medications, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, check-in, documentation, and supply management.
