Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or eligible for licensure in state of practice.
• One year experience is preferred but will consider new graduates.
• BLS certified, certifications must be current before working independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial assessment on each patient with direction from O.T.R./L.
• Document patient care and progress notes according to policy.
• Administer treatment procedures and modalities as directed.
• Maintain progress notes and departmental records on each patient.
• Participate in promoting education within the department.
