Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Fargo seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our acute care team in Fargo, ND. The COTA will deliver OT services, assess patients, and contribute to treatment planning and documentation under physician orders.

Qualified candidates hold an OT-related degree, pass the COTA exam, maintain an active license, and keep BLS current. One year of experience preferred; strong organization and independent decision-making are valued in our fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in OT is required.
• Must have passed the National Certification Examination for COTA.
• Current, active state license as a COTA is required.
• BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct occupational therapy services to patients, including assessment and treatment.

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team!

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Fargo, located in Fargo, ND, is a 31 bed Critical Care Hospital, providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
