Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support preschool-aged students in the Bronx, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, within a nonprofit preschool program serving children with developmental and therapeutic needs.

The role offers a salary of $67,000–$68,500 per year, on-site in The Bronx, full-time and permanent, with strong benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, tuition reimbursement, PTO, a paid birthday holiday, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Active NY State COTA license required.
• NBCOT certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment to preschool-aged students according to their education plans.
• Assist the Occupational Therapist with evaluations and development of treatment plans.
• Maintain required treatment records and documentation.
• Maintain therapy equipment, treatment areas, and supply inventory.
• Participate in supervision and professional development required for continued licensure.
