Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for openings in Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx. This is a direct hire, full-time position with typical shifts from 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm.

The role involves reviewing records, verifying orders, and supporting OT assessments, while documenting in the EMR and collaborating with the supervising OT and physicians. Occasional travel to assigned sites is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• NY State license, limited permit, or license-eligible.
• NBCOT exam passed or within one year of hire.
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and therapeutic activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Ability to travel to assigned sites.

• Consult with supervising OT for treatment modifications.
