Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed therapy assistant to deliver intermittent professional services to patients in home settings. You will teach patients and families and coordinate with the health care team under the physician's plan of care.

Requirements include graduation from an approved therapy assistant program, state licensure, at least one year of licensed experience, and reliable transportation with a valid driver's license. Home health or hospice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree from an approved school for therapy assistants.
• Licensed as a therapy assistant in the practicing state.
• Minimum of one year of licensed therapy assistant experience.

Responsibilities

Administer therapy services to patients requiring intermittent professional services. Teach the patient, family, and other members of the health care team. Perform services in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care (POC).

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of clinical education. Must be licensed in the state where they currently practice. Must have at least one year experience as a licensed therapy assistant.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Education and experience, preferred

• Experience as a licensed therapy assistant may be deferred with a review and approval from the regional vice president or regional director.
• Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid state driver license
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
• Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• Must possess CPR certification
