Travel between sites is required, and the candidate should be licensed in California and hold ACOTE-accredited OTA credentials. Ideal candidates have clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current California COTA license.

• Familiar with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

Job Title Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Local or Travel | Day Shift | Two Locations located in Stockton, CA

Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This position is available to local or travel clinicians and involves day shift work across two assigned locations . The ideal candidate is patient-centered, adaptable, and committed to helping individuals improve functional independence and quality of life.

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions as outlined in the established plan of care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and daily notes accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs
• Travel between two assigned work locations as scheduled
• Comply with all facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
• Shift: Day shift

• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the State of California
• Ability to travel between two work locations reliably
• Prior experience in a clinical, outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation setting
• Experience working across multiple locations or in travel assignments
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Bilingual Skills (a Plus, Not Required)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist patients throughout the workday
• Must meet all California state and facility-specific health and immunization requirements
