Job summary

Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Steubenville team. You will support therapists by carrying out treatment plans and guiding patients through daily tasks and meaningful activities.

Responsibilities include implementing exercises, cognitive tasks, and use of adaptive equipment, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to the supervising therapist.

• Carry out treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist, focusing on improving patients’ ability to perform daily tasks.
• Assist patients with therapeutic activities, including exercises, cognitive training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist for plan adjustments.
• Foster a supportive and engaging environment to encourage patients' participation in therapy.
