Job summary

Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN roles, with daily pay available. The COTA will provide therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, focusing on geriatric and long-term care populations.

The ideal candidate holds a valid COTA license, has strong documentation skills, and collaborates with the rehab team to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid COTA license and registration for the state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of an OT.
• Experience in long-term/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and timely weekly progress notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.
• Exemplary patient service and professional conduct.
• Punctual, adheres to scheduled hours and professional at all times.
• Additional duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best-practice treatments under OT supervision.

• Perform duties as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Full Time and PRN

NOW OFFERING DAILY PAY

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant is responsible for carrying out best practice treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide treatment by adhering to specific goals developed by the OT. As well, the COTA must provide feedback to the supervision occupational therapist via documentation or in any other method required by facility policy.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation
