Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will be part of a growing team and assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

You will discuss treatment with patients, maintain charts, and communicate with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff to ensure consistent care.

Responsibilities

• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
