Job summary

The Rehabilitation Hospital of the Northwest in Post Falls, Idaho seeks a COTA to join our compassionate inpatient rehab team. You will provide rehabilitative services under the direction of an occupational therapist, monitor patient progress, and contribute to a patient-centered care plan in a setting recognized for Stroke and Amputee rehab.

Qualifications

• Active COTA licensure in Idaho.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• One year direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments. Monitors the patient's program and records patient's progress for the occupational therapist. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
