Job summary

Peak Behavioral Health in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join an interdisciplinary clinic. This full-time role involves traveling to multiple clinic locations with mileage reimbursement.

The clinic provides OT, psychology, ABA, and Speech services to children with autism and other disabilities. You will perform therapy under OT supervision, educate families, maintain records, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in outpatient

Qualifications

• Experience with pediatric populations is preferred.
• Excellent communication with other providers and families.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willing to collaborate amongst an interdisciplinary team.
• Full-time hours up to 40 hours per week.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform all planned procedures under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist (MOTR/L).
• Conduct small group and individual therapy based on client needs.
• Provide family education and training to support skill transfer.
• Work in an outpatient, private-practice setting across clinic, home and community environments.
• Maintain client records and treatment notes; ensure HIPAA and state/federal confidentiality.
• Willing to travel to multiple clinic locations including Norman and Edmond with mileage reimbursement.

The Position:

• Perform all planned and approved procedures under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist (MOTR/L)

  Maintain confidentiality of patient records in according with HIPAA and State and Federal Regulations
• Willing to travel to multiple clinic locations including Norman and Edmond with mileage reimbursement available.

• OK State Licensure as a COTA
• Experience with pediatric populations is preferred
