Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Bellevue, OH seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to deliver therapeutic interventions under the direction of an OT in an interdisciplinary environment.

The OTA provides treatment plans, guides patients in ADL and therapeutic exercises, and documents patient progress for review by supervising therapists. Must hold OTA licensure in the state; CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have OTA licensure in the state.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Education: Degree in OTA from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and other interventions.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy and progress, reporting findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families on home exercises and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support Occupational Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, is responsible for providing therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state OTA licensure or certification
• Current valid CPR certification, preferred

• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on home exercises, adaptive techniques, and strategies to support continued progress.

• Other duties as assigned.
