CommuniCare Rehab in Akron, OH is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time role at Wyant Woods Healthcare Center. Our therapists are in-house team members, dedicated to improving residents' quality of life through therapy.

The COTA will implement treatment plans with the Occupational Therapist, educate the treatment staff, and collaborate with family members. You may work at multiple locations to meet residents' needs.

Formación

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) education from an accredited two-year program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
• Experience in geriatric or rehab settings preferred.

• Helps residents improve quality of life by compensating for limitations and promoting independence.
• Implements treatment plans through direct therapy and collaboration with the Occupational Therapist; educates staff and family.
