• Completes documentation according to regulations in a timely manner.
• Manages monthly budget when ordering equipment and supplies; charges patients appropriately.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment and treatment across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Job Description

• Delegates authority to Technicians
  Clinical:
• Evaluates and establishes treatment plan for any patient referred to Occupational Therapy
• Remains competent in the following areas: Standardized testing, Therapeutic exercise, ADL training, Cognitive skills, Wheelchair transfers
• Attends and provides continuing education in-servicing
• Serves as mentor for new employee(s) or volunteers
• Serves as clinical instructor for OTA students after one year of experience as a clinician
• Completes documentation according to all regulations and in a timely manner
  Budget:
• Remains within monthly budget when ordering equipment and supplies
• Charges patients appropriately and in a timely manner for treatment and equipment
  Other:
• Must be competent in use of computer for documentation and charging purposes
  Requirements:
• Must have an Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Must hold a current stateLicense based on facility location
• Must certify in CPR
• Must demonstrate competency in assessment and treatment of the following areas where applicable: Neonates/Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
