Job summary

Irbypsychservices seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support pediatric clients in Southaven, MS, with some travel to Clarksdale. The role requires an OTA credential, MS licensure or eligibility, and a willingness to commute to both locations.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, using standard measures, and educating families on daily activities and sensory processing strategies. Prior pediatric autism exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Mississippi by start date to practice.
• Pediatric therapy experience with autism is a plus.
• Willingness to commute to Southaven and Clarksdale clinics.

• Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers of pediatric patients.
• Educate parents and caregivers on how to help their children with daily activities.

• Collaborate with Occupational Therapist on client goals to better assist client's needs.
• Keep track of supervision needs/visits along with the Occupational Therapist.

• Prior pediatric therapy experience working with autistic clients a plus, but not necessary
• Must be planning to commute or relocate to Southaven, Mississippi, as well as commute one day per week to our Clarksdale, MS clinic

Daily / Weekly / Quarterly Tasks

• Implement treatment plans for pediatric patients
