Qualifications

• Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA license.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care.
• Professional, responsive, and committed to high-quality documentation.
• Ability to provide services as an independent contractor.

Responsabilités

• Provide COTA services in accordance with applicable law, physician orders, payer requirements, and the supervising OT’s plan of care.
• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to support patients’ independence, safety, functional mobility, activities of daily living, and quality of life.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques, safety strategies, and home programs as clinically appropriate.
• Document patient progress accurately and efficiently in accordance with applicable payer, agency, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with the supervising OT, referring agency, patient, family, or other authorized care participants as clinically appropriate and legally permitted.

What You’ll Do as a COTA:
