Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic activities and interventions to improve patients' functional abilities, mobility, coordination, and independence.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment outcomes to the Occupational Therapist.
  • Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and proper use of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
