Home & Care in Casper, WY is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our home health team. You will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, guided by a supervising Occupational Therapist, to improve safety, independence and daily participation.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and flexible scheduling while supporting ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Current Wyoming COTA license.
• CPR/BLS certification, if required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Home health experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed OT.
• Help patients improve independence with daily activities, mobility, and safety.
• Provide ADL training, therapeutic activities, and exercises as directed by the OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home safety and fall prevention.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising OT.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary care team.

Job Summary

Home & Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our home health team in Casper, WY.

As a COTA, you'll work one-on-one with patients in their homes to help improve safety, independence, and participation in everyday activities. You'll work closely with a supervising Occupational Therapist and our interdisciplinary care team to provide individualized, patient-centered care.
