Family of Kidz is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in a school-based setting across Westchester, NY. The role supports children with special needs, providing direct and indirect services during school hours.

You will design and implement therapeutic interventions, complete OT evaluations, and coordinate with supervisors and school personnel to ensure progress and documentation are accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• Must hold New York State Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Excellent communication with families, school teams and professionals.
• Ability to design and implement therapeutic interventions for children on caseload.

Details about this opportunity:

Location: School Based located across Westchester, NY

Status: Part-Time, Hourly

Hours: 1-5 days/week with flexible schedule during school hours

Compensation:

• Direct Treatment - $50 - $55 /hr
• Indirect Treatment (i.e. notes writing) - $16/hr

**Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
