Job summary

Belle Haven in the United States is seeking a full-time COTA- Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team, delivering patient-centered therapy under supervision to support the rehab program.

Documentation of progress, co-signature by the OTR, and adherence to state guidelines for treatments, recertifications and discharges are required.

Qualifications: current COTA license and at least one year of related experience in a rehab setting.

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment under the supervision of an OTR according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient progress on weekly progress notes and obtain the OTR’s co-signature.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and per state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager.
