Job summary

Live Oak Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a PRN position in Live Oak, Florida. You will collaborate with the care team to implement individualized therapy plans and assist residents in activities of daily living to regain independence.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida COTA license, has strong communication and teamwork skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to evaluate residents’ needs and assist in implementing individualized therapeutic treatment plans.
• Support residents in regaining independence by guiding them through daily living activities and enhancing functional abilities.
• Provide hands-on assistance during prescribed occupational therapy interventions to promote recovery from illness, injury, or other health conditions.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Work closely with therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
