Job summary

OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Columbus is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. This full-time position supports patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas, under supervision of an OT.

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Monitor patient response to treatment and modify treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT.
• Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
