Job summary

Sylvania in Texas is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students with physical disabilities through direct therapy and consultative services within the school program.

You will assist in evaluating students, planning therapeutic interventions, and ensuring services comply with district requirements and Board of Education policies. The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in OT or related field and a Texas license.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in occupational therapy or related program.
• Texas license to practice OT.
• One year of OTA experience preferred.

• Knowledge of medical information and indications of occupational therapy treatment
• Skill in use of tests and measurements for assessing physical function

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies
