Elara Caring is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to support Winnebago County and surrounding areas in providing high-quality home care. You will follow the care plan, visit patients, monitor progress, and educate families with safe home therapy techniques.

The role requires a current COTA certification, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is needed to travel between patient homes.

• Graduate of a certified occupational therapy curriculum established by the Occupational Therapy Association.
• Current, unrestricted COTA certification in the state of work.
• Minimum one year of experience as a COTA in a clinical care setting.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes.

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant , you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

What is Required?

• Graduate of a certified occupational therapy curriculum established by the Occupational Therapy Association
• Current, unrestricted COTA certification in the state of work
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a COTA in a clinical care setting
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

The base salary for this position is$35 to $40 per hour, based on the company’s good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
