Attentive Care is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for CNA staffing needs in the Capital Region, including Albany, NY. We have multiple shifts available across days, evenings, and overnights, with weekend availability especially needed.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in New York State.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work within 25 miles of the assigned facility.
• Recent CNA experience is a plus.
• Availability for day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Record and report vital signs, intake/output, weights, and observations to the nursing team.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and ROM exercises.
• Respond to call lights promptly and maintain resident comfort and dignity.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional support per care plans.
• Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and care areas with infection prevention measures.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition per policies.
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families, nurses, and care team.
• Follow safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements while protecting resident privacy.

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend availability is especially needed

About the Role

As a CNA with Attentive Care, you'll provide hands-on care that helps residents remain safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their day. Working alongside nurses and the interdisciplinary care team, you'll play a vital role in enhancing residents' quality of life while making a meaningful difference with every shift. Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care by assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, eating, and mobility.
• Obtain, record, and report vital signs, intake and output, weights, and other observations, promptly communicating changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
• Assist residents with safe transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises using proper body mechanics and mechanical lifting equipment when appropriate.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and provide timely assistance while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Assist with meal service, feeding, hydration, and nutritional support in accordance with each resident's care plan.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe resident rooms and care areas while adhering to infection prevention, isolation, and standard precaution protocols.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental status, documenting care provided in accordance with facility policies.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to support high-quality, person-centered care.
• Follow all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining resident privacy and dignity at all times.
