Job summary

FMOL Health in Monroe, LA is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to support patient care and comfort under close supervision.

The CNA will assist with feeding, hygiene, vital signs, linen changes, and mobility, while following established guidelines and preparing treatment supplies.

Qualifications

• Assistance is provided in performing data collection (TPR/BP/I&O/Weight). Patients are observed closely and reports observations/changes to assigned/charge nurse immediately.
• Appropriate care (personal hygiene, linen changes, assists with meals, elimination) is given to patients; Assists with transporting & mobility needs of patients as needed.
• Specimens are collected, assistance is provided in applying assistive devices (TED hose, ice packs, etc), and catheter care & surgical preps are performed when required.
• Patient rooms and nursing station areas are kept in an orderly fashion at all times.
• Patient bodies are appropriately cared for after death with respect and in accordance with established procedures at all times.
• Patient needs are anticipated and plans time to respond accordingly and in a minimum amount of time.
