As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients at our state-of-the-art facility in Elgin, Illinois.
About the Role
As a CNA at The Pearl of Elgin, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and personal care activities
- Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, including restocking supplies and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and families
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including vital signs and medication administration
- Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements
- Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical activities as necessary
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
