Job summary

American HealthCare is seeking a CNA for PRN Travel Pool assignments in Lynchburg, Virginia. The CNA will provide routine daily care to residents, assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities, and document actions. Travel expenses are reimbursed beyond the agreed mileage limit.

A VA State CNA License and being at least 18 years old are required. LTC experience is preferred and a good driving record is recommended.

Qualifications

• Must have active Virginia CNA license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Long-term care nursing knowledge preferred.

American HealthCare is currently recruiting CNA – PRN Travel Pool and love to travel. CNAs are responsible for providing routine daily care to assigned residents. They assist residents by supporting personal hygiene and daily living needs; maintaining resident stability; providing resident comfort; and documenting resident actions. Travel expenses will be reimbursed beyond agreed mileage limit.CNAs should have the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals; make independent decision; and remain calm in stressful situations. They should have knowledge of nursing practices and procedures and the laws, regulations and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility.
