Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in patient care within the assigned unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide personal care and emotional support to patients, and help with routine tasks under the direction of qualified nurses.

The role requires completion of a nursing assistant course and BLS certification from AHA/ARC (online cert not acceptable).

Qualifications

• Completion of course for nursing assistants.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC required.
• Online BLS certification not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nursing personnel in patient care in assigned area.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, provide personal care and emotional support; perform more complex clinical skills under supervision.

Job description

Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of professional nursing personnel.

Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of course for nursing assistants.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
