Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists Physicians and nursing personnel in providing patient care to a specific patient population. Provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the Licensed Nurse. Collects specimens, runs lab tests, performs EKG's, Drug screen collection, and Breath Alcohols. Performs clerical duties as assigned. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Vocational / Technical Degree in Medical Field (Preferred)

Work Experience

• 1+ year Patient Care Experience in a health care setting (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.
• Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
