Job summary

Memorial Regional Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for Night shift, part-time on-site in Craig, CO. The role supports nursing staff with activities of daily living, monitors patient conditions, and documents care while communicating with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
• One year CNA experience (required).
• One year Med-Surg or Long-Term Care experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Performs delegated and ancillary basic nursing skills, including activities of daily living, monitoring of patient condition, body mechanics, providing nutritional support, and other standards of care, policies, and procedures.
• Documents care as provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
• Communicates clearly, honestly, appropriately, and promptly with patients, families, and care team members.
• Completes documentation of care/behaviors with accuracy according to facility guidelines.
• Respects the confidentiality of patient information and adheres to HIPAA and facility guidelines.
• Recognizes and reports changes in the patient’s condition.
• Demonstrates caring attitudes and behaviors to develop therapeutic relationships.
• Demonstrates respect, equity, and empathy in actions and interactions with culturally diverse and vulnerable patients.
• Demonstrates knowledge of facility safety procedures.
• Occasional weekend work to support special events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
