Job summary

Newnan Health & Rehab is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide patient-centered support, and work closely with licensed nurses to ensure safety and comfort in a non-profit, mission-driven setting.

Active GA CNA certification, strong communication, reliability, and teamwork are essential. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (State of Georgia or eligible).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Partner with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver care.
